A memory shared , a nostalgic story recollected, a personal narrative which is shaped through the passing of time.
A reflective return journey to Kyoto, new experiences laid over old memories. Walking in the footsteps of philosophers the time before and after had previously faded away but now is present. No longer a carefree explorer, the weight of a disorganised history colours perception – kioku in the process becoming omoide.
